The Forum will bring together experts from industry, academia and all levels of government – including former South Australian Premier Mike Rann, former Deputy Prime Minister Brian Howe, Green Building Council of Australia Chief Executive Romilly Madew and Built Environment Industry Innovation Council Chair Sue Holliday.
To be chaired by Federal Department of Infrastructure and Transport Secretary Mike Mrdak, its central role will be to advise the Federal Government on the implementation of the National Urban Policy and to facilitate cross-sector consultation and collaboration in achieving sustainability goals for urban areas.
